Summary
Amazon Lightsail is AWS's simplified cloud platform, built for developers, small businesses, and creators who want to deploy applications without managing the complexity of traditional cloud infrastructure.
Over two years, my role evolved alongside the product. I first modernized the console by rebuilding its design foundation through accessibility improvements and design system migration. As the product matured, I shifted toward defining new product directions, using research, prototypes, and systems thinking to shape experiences across AI, networking, hosting, and developer workflows.
Rather than designing isolated features, I focused on helping customers navigate complex cloud concepts through intuitive, coherent experiences while giving product teams greater clarity before implementation.
